Early that morning I took an Uber to Glenelg beach to swim with the dolphins. The boat left at 7:30 in the morning but it was a rather cold and grey day. We left the harbor and went cruising around, but to our misfortune, we didn’t see any dolphins. Luckily, I was refunded some of the money. The dolphin swim ended at 11; the original plan was to kill time and check out Glenelg until around 3 (when my flight was), but my flight got delayed until 6. Until then, I stayed in the quintessential beach town of Glenelg; checking out shops, hanging at the beach, and reading my book until I left for the airport.
I flew through the REgional Express (REX) which was a tiny airline with a tiny plane. Port Linciln was a short 40 minute flight, being right across the water. Port Lincoln itself is a tiny town that is rather well-off and known for it’s seafood and marine economy. After a lift to the YHA where I was staying, I grabbed some great seafood at a local restaurant and then promptly called it a night. The next day I had bigger fish to fry: Sharks!
